South African-born artist EazySounds B releases his highly anticipated debut album, Ntesang—an eight-track collection that showcases his diverse musical influences and personal storytelling.
Born in Mafikeng, Northwest Province, EazySounds B has always been deeply connected to music. His journey began in 2005, experimenting with DJing until 2013. However, financial constraints prevented him from pursuing it as a career. In 2011, he got his first keyboard and started learning to play, igniting his passion for music production.
Inspired by his daughter’s musical aspirations and a personal loss, he officially started producing his own music in December 2024, setting up a home studio where he creates and produces all his work independently.
The album title, Ntesang, translates to “Leave Me Alone”—a powerful statement reflecting EazySounds B’s journey of persistence and self-reliance. However, its significance runs deeper: the name is also a tribute to his late younger brother.
“Ntesang’s name is my younger brother who was stabbed to death with a screwdriver while preparing in the church choir for the upcoming singing competition. I have been looking for something that I can honour or remember him with.”
EazySounds B’s musical style is a fusion of House, Gospel, and Adult Contemporary, showcasing his versatility and ability to convey emotion through sound. His production process involves using Fruity Loops 2024, where he crafts beats and mix/masters tracks via DistroKid.
Among the album’s highlights, “Ntesang” and “Lesedi” (Light) hold deep significance, symbolizing hope and perseverance. Meanwhile, “Malebo” (Thank You) serves as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to those who have supported him.
Unlike many debut projects that feature collaborations, Ntesang is a completely self-produced effort. Every track was created solely by EazySounds B—a testament to his dedication and artistic vision.
Currently based in Washington D.C., USA, EazySounds B remains connected to his South African roots. As a government employee, he balances his professional life with his passion for music.
