Duran Duran’s “New Moon (Dark Phase)” is a remarkable reworking of their iconic hit “New Moon on Monday.” With Andy Taylor back in the fold and the track part of the upcoming Danse Macabre – De Luxe album, it’s clear that the band is still at the top of their game. The song brings out the strength of the original composition while incorporating a more modern pop sensibility. The result? A version that somehow surpasses the original with its direct, raw energy and sci-fi vibe.
The haunting atmosphere and cool Duran Duran vocals send shivers down your spine, making this reimagined track a must-listen for both die-hard fans and newcomers alike. It’s nostalgic yet forward-looking, a perfect balance between the past and the future.
